Clubs and Organizations | Western Technical College

Student Government, Clubs, and Organizations

Some of the most valuable lessons happen outside of the classroom. Getting involved on campus will help you build the skills employers want—teamwork, communication, and leadership. They are also a great way to network and meet other students with similar interests.

Join a club related to your program, get involved with a campus-wide organization, or join the student government and influence decisions on campus. Whatever your goals, getting involved on campus will help you achieve them.

Get Involved!

Students are invited to join the events and organizations listed below. Check out Western ENGAGE for more opportunities.

Western ENGAGE

Student Government

The Student Government is the official voice of the students at Western. Members help make important campus decisions while building core leadership skills that will benefit academic and career goals alike.

Organizations and Clubs

Campus-wide organizations and clubs at Western give you the opportunity to build leadership and professional skills while socializing and meeting other students on campus.

Some campus-wide clubs include:

  • CRU
  • DECA
  • E-Sports
  • Fine Arts Club
  • Golf Club
  • Multicultural Club
  • Phi Theta Kappa National Honor Society
  • Western Dungeons and Technical Dragons

There are also program-specific clubs to help you explore and expand your education outside of the classroom. From the Criminal Justice Club or Electronics Club, to the Student Nurses Association or EMS Club, there are many ways for you to get involved in your program.
