Transfer Agreements by Program

Several of Western's associate degree programs transfer directly into specific bachelor degree programs. Check the individual program pages for university transfer agreements available for that particular program, or see the complete list here.

Transfer Any Associate Degree

Western has agreements with several universities who will provide graduates from any of our associate degree programs with junior status. You will need to work with the university to determine which credits will transfer and apply toward the chosen bachelor’s degree. See the list of partner universities here.

Taylor
Taylor, Western-Viterbo Transfer Student

I’m surprised by how much I enjoy all of my business classes. Curiosity and interest in a subject make a big difference in reading and learning. The more business classes I take, the more I enjoy them, from accounting to finance to operations, and more. I’ve learned a great deal and I know Western prepared me well for my Viterbo classes this fall.

The experiences I gained from the accounting program at Western have been nothing but phenomenal. Whether you're looking to begin your accounting career or intend to continue your education through one of Western’s many transfer agreements, Western’s accounting program provides an excellent education at a reasonable price.

I love being a part of the human services program. The instructors are amazing and really worked with everyone individually. I have learned so much from this program. One of the biggest things I will take with me is that realization that no one is perfect, everyone needs help from time to time, and you are no help to anyone if you cannot help yourself.

Important Transfer Information

Deciding to be a transfer student is an important decision. It is key to plan ahead and weigh all the information before deciding if being a transfer student is right for you.

Plan Ahead

Transferring works best if you have a plan. The more you can tell us about your goals, the more we can help get you there. If you are unsure, Western staff can help you develop a transfer plan.

Transfer Information Can Change

Every college and university changes its majors and programs from time to time. It is important that once you have decided on a transfer institution, you connect with them and find out the latest on any admission or program changes.

The Transfer Institution Decides What They Will Accept

Transfer institutions are the final decision maker on what will transfer in. As information changes, students are responsible for making sure that their credits will transfer.

The Transfer Institution Makes the Admission Decision

Colleges and universities will decide their own admission process and standards. It is important to be in close contact with the admissions office of the institution to which you plan to transfer, so that you know how to complete application materials before deadlines.
