Workforce Advancement Training grants increase Wisconsin’s investment in incumbent worker training while supporting increased business productivity and regional economic strategies. This grant opportunity enables small, medium, and large businesses to grow by implementing training projects addressing needs for multiple categories of employees and topics. Annual Manufacturing Luncheon
Western Technical College Business and Industry Services hosts an annual luncheon every October that celebrates the partnerships built between our local school districts and businesses. The luncheon includes a keynote speaker, local student STEM projects on display, and tours of our Integrated Technology Center.
Please join us as we celebrate manufacturing and support its connection to education, and workforce development. We encourage area manufacturers, educators and all others to attend this event. For more information on the event, please reach out to John Zimprich at zimprichj@westerntc.edu.
Western’s Employer Spotlight
The Employer Spotlight provides a connection point between students in Western Technical College programs (Example – Welding, Machining, HVAC, etc.) and local employers. It allows employers in the region to share an overview of their business while giving the students an opportunity to ask questions in an informal luncheon setting.
If you would be interested in getting more information about how your business can be involved, please reach out to John Zimprich at zimprichj@westerntc.edu.
